"What do you copy to DVD?" Feature films, dailies, short films, corporate communications, demo reels, student projects, home videos, pilots, goverment videos, vhs-to-dvd, etc.  We are known for having the most economical digital betacam transfers in Hollywood. Digi-beta is our leading transfer format.

"How much are additional copies of my new DVD?" Each DVD "clone" is $15.

"Why copy videotape to DVD?" There is no time to wait! The average life-span of videotape is only 5 years before noticable "dropouts" begin destroying the image. DVD's are easier to store, ship, and protect. Archive now or lose valuable material forever.

"How can you do that so inexpensively?" We take your tape and record it to DVD. No fancy authoring or graphics. When your new DVD is popped into a machine, your program will have a simple text menu and play in stunning clarity.

"Are there menus and chapters?" No chapters, but each clip is identified in a text menu. And the viewer can select a given clip from the menu.

"What is the actual file format on the new DVD?" MPEG2

"How long does it take?" Usually about 2 days, depending on current work orders.

"Do you create labels and cover artwork?" Yes. Basic text labels only, but no cover art. Please call for custom art quote.

"Does the DVD play on computers and consumer players?" Our DVD's are of superior quality. They will play on just about anything that can play a DVD-R (including DVD Players & computers). However, because DVD players are not standardized yet, some DVD players from 2003 and before will not support this format. The only way to assure that a DVD will play on ANY machine , is to create a glass master and use a factory press. This process if very costly for small orders.

"Can I put several short programs together to fill the DVD?" Yes, for an additional minimal charge of $10 per clip.

"Can you copy from a DVD to a DVD?" Absolutely.

"Does quality change depending on the length of my program?" Yes and No. All programs under one hour are at the absolute highest quality. Programs that run up to 2 hours require slightly lower quality in order to fit on the disk.
